Bandit LA x Long Distance: Mile 7 Cheer Zone

Bandit LA and Long Distance set up a lively cheer zone right around mile 7 of the Los Angeles Marathon, turning race morning into a mini block party for spectators and early risers. Doors open at 6:30 a.m., with Picnic coffee, breakfast, a DJ, and all-morning “vibes” from the crews running through late morning—perfect for catching runners as the course rolls by. Good to know: - Doors: 6:30 a.m.; coffee/breakfast/DJ run roughly 6:30–11:30 a.m. - The cheer zone is positioned at mile 7, so runners pass through mid-race rather than at the start/finish - Plan for an early arrival to grab coffee and a good curbside spot

Bandit LA x Long Distance: The Trials LA

Bandit Running and Long Distance kick off LA Marathon week with The Trials LA: an unsanctioned, point-based crew race that turns Koreatown streets into a fast, gritty 2K sprint. Checkpoints stay under wraps until race day, and with no closed roads and no timing chips, it’s all street smarts, speed, and community energy. The night starts with BASECAMP opening early, then check-in and bib pickup, followed by the Open Division start and a Crew Invitational to watch, capped by a late podium and prizes for the top three men and women. Good to know: - BASECAMP doors open at 5:00 PM; check-in/bib pickup begins at 7:00 PM - Open Division race starts at 8:00 PM; Crew Invitational follows around 8:45 PM - No road closures or timing chips; checkpoints revealed day-of—run responsibly
