Motion Festival
Motion Festival is a free four-day street festival at Customs House Forecourt, Circular Quay, running from Thursday afternoon to Sunday night of Sydney Marathon week. Alfred Street and Young Street close for it. The programme covers shakeout runs, a recovery lounge, athlete talks, a First Nations smoking ceremony, family shows, live music and DJs, and race-day broadcasts on the big screen. Food comes from Agape, Antico, Asian Delights, Berry Donuts, Bianco, Brooklyn Boy Bagels, Butterboy and Mexican Cantina. Entry is free and no ticket is needed. Funded by the NSW Government's Open Streets Program in association with the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS.
