Native Women Running Chicago Marathon Weekend
Native Women Running brings two gatherings into one weekend for Indigenous runners, families, friends and allies around the marathon. Saturday opens with a community shakeout run and walk for all paces, along with sign making for race day. On Sunday the team hosts an indoor hub and a cheer zone on the course. Partners include the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, whose Chicago branch office is a hub for the city's Native American community.
