New Map & List

This is the largest UX update since launch. The marathon workspace now uses a split-view layout inspired by Airbnb’s search experience.

• Desktop — list on the left, map on the right. Scroll the list and see events highlighted on the map in real time
• Mobile — full-bleed Apple Map with a draggable bottom sheet. Three snap points: peek (10%), half (40%), and full screen
• Apple MapKit JS with native clustering — hundreds of events render smoothly with custom markers colored by event type
• Map bounding box filters the list automatically — move the map, the list updates
• "Show nearest results" when no events are in your current viewport
