New Balance opens its Run House at Ideal Glass Studios, by Washington Square Park, for marathon week. The house celebrates New Balance Running and its decade with the NYC running community. The official TCS New York City Marathon apparel and footwear sit at its center. Inside are a premiere film made with NYRR on the refurbished track at Star Spangled Park in Brooklyn, a timeline of New Balance in the city's running community and a customization studio where marathoners can personalize their race-day apparel and gear. A lower-level community hub hosts workshops, product testing and photo moments. A screening room shows New Balance films. On Saturday morning the Endorphins Running shakeout finishes at the house. On race day and the Monday after, Fleet Feet runs its Recovery Lounge at the house. Opening hours: - Friday 30 October, 12 to 5 PM - Saturday 31 October, 12 to 5 PM
