UTMB Mont-Blanc 2026

CHAM-O Orienteering Challenge

This 3.5-hour orienteering challenge sends participants around central Chamonix to find six checkpoints and collect HOKENS for a chance to win prizes. The focus is on exploring the town, sharing the experience and having fun rather than racing. HOKA test shoes and Silva headtorches are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with bag storage provided.

An open social run from the Big Mountain Basecamp on Avenue Ravanel le Rouge, with beers and the club raffle afterwards. It runs on the Wednesday of race week and anyone can turn up. Free, no registration.

Big Mountain Basecamp at UTMB Mont-Blanc

The Big Mountain Basecamp on Avenue Ravanel le Rouge hosts three sessions across race week. Hastko runs a shoe test on 20 August. The Big Mountain Trail Club social run goes out on the evening of 26 August with beers and a raffle afterwards, and the CHAM-O orienteering challenge starts from there on the evening of 27 August.
