OSR Proto Series: The Proto Championship

Orchard Street Runners close their Proto Series with the Proto Championship, a race of about 13.1 miles from Morningside Heights to downtown Manhattan on Halloween night, the eve of the marathon. There is no set route. Runners pass mandatory checkpoints and pick their own line on open streets with traffic, so it is meant for experienced runners. The winner in each of the men's, women's and non-binary fields gets 300 USD. Registration is 40 USD and open to everyone.

Good to know:

• Check-in runs from 7 to 7:45 PM, with a mandatory start line briefing at 7:57 PM.
• Registered runners get the exact start and finish by email.
• Runners must be 18 or older.
• Mobile bag check is provided.
