Berlin Marathon Week 2026: shakeout runs, pop-ups and cheer zones
Torstraße in Mitte is where most of Berlin marathon week happens. Nine of the addresses below sit on that one street and the course runs through it at around kilometer 11, so you can stand in one place and watch the whole thing arrive. The rest is spread across Mitte, Kreuzberg, Neukölln, West Berlin and Tempelhof. The week runs Monday 21 to Monday 28 September 2026, with the BMW Berlin Marathon itself on Sunday 27. It opens with a coffee run at Moritzplatz on the first morning and closes with medal engraving on Rosenthaler Straße the Monday after.

Two doors opened early: The Running Clubhouse at Moritzplatz on Friday 18 and Temporary Habitat on Torstraße on Saturday 19.
Everything on one map
Every pop-up, group run, talk, after party and recovery session is on one map at marathon-weekend.com/berlin/2026, with each address, opening hours and sign-up. That page is the whole week. What follows is the shortlist.
How the week runs
Monday 21 September
The On LightSpray Tour opens at the On store in Mitte and CODE leads the first coffee run from the Running Clubhouse at 08:00. At 19:00 Common Pace starts its taper week in Neukölln and LOAD runs 7 km from the New Balance store on Münzstraße.
Tuesday 22 September
The quiet one, before the week turns. The HOKA HUB opens at Leipziger Straße 60, on kilometer 40 of the course, with a vernissage at 19:00. Film night at the Clubhouse, a nutrition talk at Common Pace.
Wednesday 23 September
The last day for real pace. Top4Running intervals from the HOKA HUB at 17:00, the Berlin Track Club tune-up at the Sony Center at 18:00, the más.mile unsanctioned race at 19:00.
Thursday 24 September
The big opening day. Brooks at three stops, Kanteen, the Center For Modern Running, Maurten, the PUMA NITRO LAB and Optimistic Runners all open. The ASICS House opens for invited guests only. The Pizza Mile Relay starts at 18:00. Kanteen’s BBQ, the Maurten film screening and a HOKA panel fill the evening.
Friday 25 September
Twelve runs, starting with SOAR’s progression run at 06:30. Zalando’s RunZone, SOAR at Rapha, the adidas Home of Fast, On x SUCUX and the Mental Athletic No Cheer Zone open. New Balance Midnight Miles runs laps from 20:00 to midnight.

Seven we would not miss
HOKA HUB Berlin. 3,000 square meters on kilometer 40 of the course, with something on every day from Tuesday to the afterparty.
SOAR X BERLIN ‘26. SOAR sets up at the Rapha Clubhouse and leads its progression run on Friday morning. One of us is pacing it.
Kanteen: Pre + Post Marathon. Knees Up brings its pop-up to Kreuzberg with New Balance. We are biased, because it is where we go whenever we are in London. We are keen to see what they build for Berlin.
Mental Athletic No Cheer Zone. Mental Athletic continue their world tour, this time with BAM PRACTICE. We love an out-of-focus marathon picture taken from a weird angle.
Beinghunted. Center For Modern Running. The pop-up we would do if we ever did our own. Running, fashion and culture from people who want to evolve the space.
Berlin Braves Race Weekend. The Braves plus Nike, with their shakeout uhm shake down and the XXL afterparty.
On x SUCUX Social Hub and Coffee Shop. On and SUCUX in a copy shop next to the route. We like On, SUCUX does great pop-ups and even better coffee.
If you are running: the shakeout runs
43 group runs across five days: two on Monday, four on Wednesday, three on Thursday, twelve on Friday and twenty-two on Saturday. Most are an easy 5 km with coffee after. Six of the Saturday ones go at 09:00, so that morning you get one. Ours is Kanteen at 09:00, and it needs an RSVP. Every run, by day, on the map.
Going for tempo. The Top4Running Fly Mile on Wednesday at 17:00 is tempo intervals. The Berlin Track Club Tune Up on Wednesday at 18:00 is short intervals with the Pegasus Plus 2 to test. The SOAR progression run on Friday at 06:30 goes from 5:30 to 3:50 per km over 10 km.
Early birds. SOAR at 06:30 and LOAD at 07:00 on Friday, adidas Runners at 07:30 on Saturday.
With a bit of stardom. adidas Runners x Believe in the Run on Saturday, with Haile Gebrselassie. Meet at 07:30 at Café am Neuen See, run at 08:15, four pace groups from 5:00 to 6:30 per km, finish at the Home of Fast.
At the Brandenburg Gate for sightseeing. Team Abbott on Friday at 09:00, out and back through Tiergarten.
Around the expo. BRITA leaves the expo at Tempelhof on Saturday at 11:00 for 6 km. Shokz is on Tempelhofer Feld on Saturday at 09:00. BLACKROLL goes from the Paradestraße entrance on Friday at 15:00 with Hendrik Pfeiffer and Stephan Gerick.
Shoe testing. DNA x ASICS on Saturday at 09:00 has ASICS pairs to run in. Saucony on Saturday at 11:00 has shoes, recovery cream and race-day fuel to try.
With art. Run, Art, Run on Thursday at 17:00 goes to the Neue Nationalgalerie for Maurizio Cattelan NIGHT. HHV and HOKA on Friday at 10:30 run from the Julia Stoschek Foundation to nbb gallery.
Staying in Neukölln. Crews & Brews on Saturday at 09:00 from Isla, GEGEN x Peloton on Saturday at 09:30 with a free T-shirt.
Not a morning person. Common Pace x New Balance on Thursday at 19:00. On Friday, RUN-N-RAVE at 18:00, then HOKA and the On Run Club at 18:30.
Slept in. Midnight Runners on Saturday at 13:00, ESN and NIKE x HAVEN at 14:30, Mikkeller at 15:00. The latest start of the weekend leaves from a bar.
Three races that are not the marathon
The más.mile unsanctioned race is Wednesday at 19:00 on open roads, no closed course, at your own risk, entry by form with a result link. The Pizza Mile Relay on Thursday is teams of four, a mile each and a quarter pizza before every leg. Solo entrants get a team. New Balance Midnight Miles runs 1 km laps from 20:00 until midnight on Friday, as many as you like, with a shirt for the first 200 and free registration.
If you are watching: the 13 cheer zones
13 cheer zones on Sunday, and the U2 decides how many of them you see. The course closes roads straight across the middle of the city, so crossing it on the surface costs you the runner you came for. The U-Bahn goes under it. Torstraße at kilometer 11 and Bülowstraße at kilometer 38 sit on the same line, so a day ticket gets you your runner twice, once in the first hour and once when it hurts.
Torstraße, kilometer 11. Four zones within a few hundred meters. GRIT from 08:00 with live music and coffee, UNNA x Osprey x Arys from 08:30, the ASICS House from 09:00 with the livestream running inside, Optimistic Runners from 10:00. Brooks cheers from its pop-up at Lucy’s The Deli and On from SUCUX, both on the same street. Neither is a dedicated cheer zone, so the count stays at four. You will hear it before you see it.
Bülowstraße, kilometer 38. The loud one. Three crews under the U2 viaduct, where the noise has nowhere to go. Midnight Runners from 07:30 with drums, cowbells and whistles, then KRAFT Runners and the Berlin Braves from 09:00. Arrive early. LOAD is a few minutes further on at Son Kitchen with a DJ and food.
The last three kilometers, if you want to see the finish face. ASICS x DNA at Bottone on kilometer 39, the HOKA HUB at kilometer 40 with Refuge Worldwide on the decks until 16:00, Ante at kilometer 41, one kilometer from the line.
Earlier on the course, COROS cheers through the Clubhouse windows onto the Moritzplatz roundabout just before kilometer 15 and Saucony holds Prinzenstraße until 15:00.
Before the start there are two warm-ups at the Reichstag, Midnight Runners at 06:30 and KRAFT Runners at 07:30. If you need a sign, the COROS poster workshop is Saturday at 17:00 at the Clubhouse.
