UTMB Mont-Blanc 2026 race week: the ultimate guide

UTMB Mont-Blanc race week runs Monday 24 to Sunday 30 August, and the brands arrive early. We count 14 pop-ups and chalets and 67 runs, hikes, talks, parties and races worth a place in the week, from a crystal hike above the Mer de Glace on the Saturday before to a Sunday morning toast at the rabbit Clubhouse before everyone drives home. The Ultra-Trail Village on Place du Mont-Blanc is the hub. The best of it is spread across town, out to Argentière and up to a ski jump.

Twelve brands run a programme from their own space. HOKA has the La Folie Douce terrace, Columbia a chalet with a daily hike, rabbit a hotel, Maurten a talks room, SATISFY a shop with a run every morning. Every one of them is listed with maps and tickets on the edition pages: pop-ups, group runs, talks, after parties and recovery. This is the long version, sorted the way you will use it.

How the week runs

Before the week. La Marzocco and i-Run open the Home of Mountains chalet on Saturday 22 with a barista workshop every morning, Columbia opens its residency on Sunday 23 with a full-day crystal hike, HOKA Base Camp is open from Friday 21.

Thursday 27. OCC day. SATISFY Run #4 heads for the snowline, rabbit runs with Run the Alps, Tom Evans talks at Maurten, Trail Keepers premieres, then the evening stacks up: La Sportiva at sunset, Merrell at the ski jump, Oakley again, Unsanctioned Athletics at 18:30, CHAM-O at 19:00.
